Geekbench 2.1.11 for iOS is now available on the iTunes App Store. Geekbench 2.1.11 fixes a bug on the latest iOS devices (such as the iPad and the iPhone 4) where Geekbench was unable to determine the processor speed.

While Geekbench still can’t directly determine the processor speed (as iOS doesn’t provide that information), Geekbench now attempts to calculate the processor speed. While it’s not a perfect solution, my testing shows it’s never off by more than 5%.

Geekbench 2.1.11 also adds support for multi-core processors. While there aren’t any iOS devices with multi-core processors on the market, rumors indicate multi-core devices might be released later this year.

Geekbench 2.1.11 for iOS is available today on the iTunes App Store for $1.99.
